I want to send a big thank you to the Saipan Tribune and James Davies from Jungle Jim Island Adventures. My father lost contact with his brother who was from Fresno, but living alone on Saipan. We had no idea exactly where he was or how he was living. I sent an email to one of your reporters asking about social services and shelters to possibly locate him and within 24 hours, he had my uncle’s picture in the paper. The following day, I received emails from several Saipan residents, including James Davies (aka Jungle Jim), who helped my father connect with his brother.

We couldn’t have found him without your help. I am humbled by the kindness and generosity of your residents.
