Thank you, Kilili

At a recent House Natural Resources Committee hearing in Washington, D.C., Delegate Kilili offered an important amendment that would protect key conservation provisions of the Magnuson-Stevens Act that are under attack by new legislation. He offered an important amendment to eliminate loopholes in H.R. 4742 that would allow fishery managers to delay rebuilding unhealthy stocks and could keep fish populations at very low levels. Our local people depend on our natural resources for our livelihoods, and this requires healthy fish populations.

Thank you Kilili your leadership and standing up for the local people that depend on you to be our voice in Washington, D.C. The key conservation provisions of the MSA have proven successful and they should remain.
