Teresa Camacho is Bank of Guam’s newest VP

HAGATNA, Guam—The Bank of Guam board of directors, management and staff announced yesterday the promotion of Teresa Catahay Camacho to vice president/compliance manager—Compliance Department.

Camacho graduated from the Academy of Our Lady of Guam in 2000 and holds a degree in accounting with a minor in paralegal studies from the University of Guam. She has completed the American Banking Association’s National Compliance and Intermediate Compliance Schools, as well as the Sheshunoff Regulatory Compliance Certification Program. She earned her Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager  designation in November 2011.

Camacho joined the Bank of Guam in 2007 following her employment with the U.S. Attorney’s office, and completed the bank’s management training program a year later.  She joined the Compliance Department in 2008, and became a compliance officer before being promoted in 2013 to be the assistant compliance manager.
