Temporary water service interruption for Papago

Share

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. customers in Papago will experience a temporary water service interruption on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 8am to 5pm.

The purpose of this water outage is to allow CUC’s contractor, MPC Inc., to install a new bypass system at the Capitol Hill tank site and connect a new booster pump system to the existing distribution main.

The water outage will affect residents living along Gurugur Lane, Papago Drive, and portions of Isa Drive from Sosugi Drive to Mulberry Lane. This project is in preparation for the waterline upgrade in the area to improve system pressure and provide a more reliable water system.

This project is part of the Capitol Hill Pressure Improvement and Waterline Project and is funded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

CUC apologizes in advance for any inconvenience resulting from this project and the water service interruption.
