Tasty Burger marks 1-year anniversary

Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan executive chef Roland Fitz had always wanted to open a burger joint that focused on the beef.
Working with Fiesta F&B director Das Krishnan, Tasty Burgers and Ribs, operated by Fiesta Resort & Spa, opened on May 24, 2016. That quaint joint on the Paseo de Marianas was recently certified as an official certified Angus beef restaurant.
“My passion is serving the very best food. To serve the very best food, you need the very best product, and certified Angus beef is the best product…Tasty Burgers and Ribs is proud to serve certified Angus beef band,” said Fitz.
Jay Santos, general manager of Triple J Five Star Wholesale Food, which sells the CAB brand on island, said that Tasty Burgers and Ribs “is an excellent spot. …They make an excellent burger. The ultimate Swiss cheese and avocado burgers are my personal favorites. You won’t find a better burger on island.”
Other menu items include New York-style hotdogs, baby back ribs, curly fries, and a chef’s cobb salad. Their anniversary special includes “Ultimate Swiss Mushroom Burger” served with iced tea and curly fries for only $10.50.
Tasty Burgers and Ribs is located at Paseo de Marianas in Garapan, and is open daily from 11:30am to 9:30pm. Call 233-7787 for reservations.
