Tan Holdings wins fall debut

Tan Holdings FC prevailed in the last game in the boys U15 division of the 2011 NMIFA Youth Football Fall League that kicked off last Saturday at the Oleai Sports Complex Field.
Tan Holdings shut out Paire, 3-0, to join opening week winners MP United 1 and 2, which dominated Shirley’s FC 1, 17-1, and Matansa FC, 11-1, respectively.
Marc Gerald Mora broke the ice for Tan Holdings when he scored the first goal for his team. Dan Deric Ibarra made it a 2-0 count at the break, as he also found the back of the net in the first 45 minutes of play.
Then in the second half, Jack Unsa lit up the scoreboard to complete Tan Holding’s first win of the season.
Over at the San Antonio Elementary School Field, defending champion Matansa and MP United downed separate foes in the girls U15 division.
In the first match at the Octopus’ pitch, Matansa clobbered Tan Holdings, 10-0.
Jace Pineda led Matansa’s big win, scoring four goals, while Andrea Camacho, and Mary Ann Waing added two each. Maile Aldrich and Almina Deleon Guerrero chipped in one goal apiece.
In the second girls U15 match, MP United beat Paire FC, 4-1.
Hae Rim Kim and Amy Taylor made two goals each for MP United, while Kayleen Salle logged Paire’s lone goal.
Back at the Oleai pitch, Paire FC stunned defending champion MP United, 3-2.
Paire scored all its goals in the second half to recover from a 0-2 deficit at halftime. Devin Atalig, Hae Sung Lee, and Zhi Lin nailed one goal apiece for Paire, while Yi Shan Wang recorded twin goals for MP United.
