Tan Holdings holds off Shirley’s FC in boys U13

In Week 2 of games in the boys U13 of the TakeCare Youth Soccer League Fall 2022, Tan Holdings FC overpowered Shirley’s FC, 8-2, last Saturday at the Northern Marianas Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

Emerson Charles Brillo scored a goal in the first couple of minutes of the game, triggering a series of goals for the boys of Tan Holdings.

Shirley’s put up a good run, never too far behind them but Tan Holdings was always a step ahead. Brillo and Jerz Navarro claimed two goals each in the game even before Shirley’s was up on the board, for a score of 4-0.

John Lloyd Lucero of Tan Holdings found the back of the net, but was immediately followed right after by Kimason Cabrera of Shirley’s, for a score of 5-1. Tan Holdings still had a huge lead as three more goals were made, with six goals made in the first half and two goals in the second half. 

The only other goal that Shirley’s put up was in the 42nd minute, for the final score of 8-2.

Tan Holdings also includes Rafael De Belen, Evan Seguritan, Julio Monserrat, Kian Estolas, Travis Hix Jr., Franko Ray Tudela, Clyde Manangan, Tanner McClure, and Brycen Raymundo.

MP United Blue 3, MP United Pink 2
MP United FC’s two boys teams roughed each other up in a game of supremacy, with MP United Blue team coming out on top, 3-2.

Quido Jambor of MPU Blue drew first blood in the first eight minutes of the game. Right after, teammate Seo Yeom scored one as well. 

MPU Pink’s Leonard Delemarle found his way through MPU Blue’s defenses and finally put their team up on the board, but they were still behind, 2-1. It was still anybody’s game, and MPU Pink managed to put up one more goal, but lost right after MPU Blue scored and took the lead until the end of the game.

Kanoa FC 2,
Matansa FC 0

Kanoa FC blanked Matansa FC, 2-0.

There was much back and forth between the teams, with the other not being able to score.

Finally, in the 26th minute, Aldirc Antonio broke the silence and scored a goal for Kanoa, with Akoni Matsumoto right at his heels for the second goal and the win.
