Tammy Torres was crowned the Fil-American Lion’s Club 2017 Ultimate Drag Queen last Saturday at Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga Hall. Torres also won Best in Makeup and Glamorous Drag Queen.

First runner-up went to Joewel, while the second runner-up was Noel Fernandez Wong. Joewel also won Best Talent and Wong was named Miss Q&A. Patrick Kapaw-an was third runner-up.

Other winners were Jolly (fifth runner-up and Best in Hairstyle), Sunshine (Miss Photogenic), Nestea (Hilarious Drag Queen), and Rica (fourth runner-up and Best in Evening Gown).

Saipan Fil-American Lion’s Club president AnnaMae Adaza said this event was in celebration of the club’s anniversary and was definitely entertaining.

Proceeds raised will fund the rehabilitation of the club’s signs along the Beach Road pathway, and it will also go into giving gifts to children at the Commonwealth Health Center.
