As part of its continued marketing work in Taiwan, the Marianas Visitors Authority conducted a CEO agent inspection familiarization tour on Saipan in September 2016, to inspect sites, rooms, and activities.
Through its Taiwan office, the MVA arranged a group of CEO’s representing travel trade agents Hana Tour, Dadova Tour, ET TOURS, U Plan Travel, Best Tour, Giant Tour, and Dynamic Airways Taiwan. The participating agen-cies specialize in promoting island destinations in the Taiwan market.
On Saipan, the group visited Managaha, Garapan Street Market, DFS, I Love Saipan store, Lao Lao Bay Golf & Resort, Coral Ocean Golf Resort, and the scenic sites of Mt. Tapochau, Grotto, Marpi, San Juan Beach, Banzai Cliff, and Kilili Beach Park. They also inspected Hyatt Regency, Fiesta Resort & Spa, Kanoa Resort, Pacific Islands Club Saipan, Saipan World Resort and Kensington Hotel.
“We were pleased to welcome Taiwanese CEO’s who are experienced in selling the types of leisure products that Saipan, Tinian, and Rota have to offer,” said MVA marketing manager Bruce Bateman. “It was great to hear the highly appreciated feedback that these professional agents loved the outstanding pristine, natural environment, and friendly hospitality of the Northern Marianas.”
The group was accompanied by MVA’s Taiwan country manager Milane Tsai during their tour, which was also supported by Asiana Airlines, Best Sunshine International Ltd., Hana Tour, and DFS. (MVA)
