San Vicente Elementary School topped the 21st Annual Academic Challenge Bowl for Elementary Schools last Saturday.
The event, hosted by Marianas High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society, drew a crowd of over 150 people.
A total of 13 schools participated this year: San Vicente Elementary, Green Meadow, Northern Marianas International School, Grace Christian Academy, Saipan International School, GTC Elementary, WSR Elementary School, Kagman Elementary School, Garapan Elementary School, Koblerville Elementary School, Agape Christian Academy, Oleai Elementary School, and Sinapalo Elementary School.
School teams consisted of 4th and 5th grade students and were tested in the areas of Language Arts, Science, Math, and Social Studies. Coming in second place was William S. Reyes Elementary School and in third place, Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School. (PR)
