A joint Department of Public Safety Drug Enforcement Task Force Unit arrested in Garapan Thursday a suspected supplier of methamphetamine or “ice.”

Yiming Xu was taken to the Superior Court on Friday for trafficking of controlled substance and illegal possession of controlled substance. Bail was set at $100,000 cash. Preliminary hearing is today, Wednesday.

Detective Steven A. Castro stated in his report that a cooperating source had told him and another detective that Xu, also known as Dofi and Tax, sells “ice.”

Castro said the Task Force managed to buy $100 worth of “ice” from Xu using their confidential source at the suspect’s house in Garapan on Oct. 18.

The detective learned that Xu was arrested twice in the past for the same charges.
