Super unleaded gasoline is now available at Mobil gas stations
Mobil Oil Marianas announced yesterday the availability of super unleaded (Octane 91) gasoline at 10 of 11 service stations on Saipan starting on Dec. 4, 2015.
Since Typhoon Soudelor swept through Saipan in August, the Saipan Mobil Terminal had been able to only supply regular unleaded (Octane 87) gasoline to motorists. With the support of local contractors and regional expertise, the Mobil team on Saipan worked hard to complete its repairs and Super Unleaded (Octane 91) gasoline is now available at Mobil service stations.
Earlier, on Oct 23, 2015, Mobil had announced the return of the service station network to full operation with the opening of Chalan Piao service station. Ten of Mobil’s service stations sustained minor damage when Typhoon Soudelor hit the island in early August. They were quickly repaired and were open to first responders and essential services within a day after the typhoon.
With services restored at Chalan Piao station and the availability of Super Unleaded (Octane 91), Mobil’s network of service stations on Saipan will bring to our customers pre-typhoon levels of service. (Mobil)
