The street market at the Garapan Fishing Base will resume this coming Thursday, July 18.

Commonwealth Council of Arts and Culture executive director Parker Yobei informed Saipan Tribune yesterday in an email that the Thursday night street market will resume its regular schedule from 5pm to 9pm every Thursday.

The night market was suspended to make way for the 2019 Liberation Day festivities at the Garapan Fishing Base that lasted from June 27 to July 6.

A one-week cushion was given to allow the preparations and clearing of the tents and equipment used for the Liberation Day festivities.

The weekly street market consists of over 37 vendors in the mini-festival—27 of which are food vendors and 10 non-food vendors.
