Pointers on how to advance within a company is the main focus of today’s Saipan Chamber of Commerce workshop.

According to the Chamber, the business seminar would benefit those interested in greater career development and in developing the skills to improve performance and growth within an organization.

Presenters for today’s event are Vicky Benavente, assistant manager of Pacific Islands Club, and Jill Arenovski, executive director of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce.

Titled “Steppin’ it up! Taking on greater responsibility and problem solving,” strategies to gain recognition for efforts and how to enhance skill sets will also be discussed so that professionals will be ready to move up the corporate ladder in their business or company.

Attendees can also find out if they have what it takes to step up to the plate to lead, work in teams, and juggle new assignments with their current responsibilities.

The workshop is recommended for front line employees, administrators, retail staff, and sales people.

The workshop will be held in the Chamber conference room in Marianas Business Plaza Suite 315. Registration fee for chamber members is $25 while a $35 fee is required for non-Chamber members.
