StayWell promotes and rehires
HAGÅTÑA, Guam—Chen Y. Mack, president and CEO of StayWell Insurance, recently announced the promotion of Dr. Anthony Mendiola from director of Provider Relations and Health Management to vice president of Medical Management. In his new capacity, Mendiola will manage utilization management, health management, provider relations, and medical claims.

Mendiola has been with StayWell for 14 years and has been integrally involved in the development of StayWell as a leading insurance carrier.
“Dr. Mendiola is an important leader in our company and we are fortunate to have him on the team. He ensures our medical management program is innovative and is in alignment with the needs of our members,” said Mack.

In addition to Mendiola’s promotion, the company also announced that Dafne Shimizu has rejoined StayWell as vice president of Finance. Also returning to the company is Maureen Tellei Sablan as vice president of Business Development.
