StayWell moves to new Guam building, rebrands
HAGÅTÑA, Guam—After 30 years of providing insurance coverage in Guam, StayWell Insurance is embarking upon a major rebranding effort that includes a new company headquarters, brand logo, and slogan, and a corporate social responsibility platform.
StayWell will move from its current building in Hagåtña to a new building in Maite this month.
Modern and streamlined, the new two-story, 17,900- square-foot building incorporates elements of feng shui and classical motifs and tropical wood veneers to signify culture, health, and longevity. The interior layout is woven around a central, curved stairway, which opens up onto a second floor main foyer space featuring a sitting Buddha statue in front of a slate wall.
“The building represents StayWell’s long-term investment in Guam’s future,” said Chen Mack, the company’s president and CEO.
The StayWell brand
StayWell Insurance’s mission is to help beyond expectations: That’s one of the key messages StayWell wants to get across with its rebranding initiative, centered on a new logo.
“The desire to rebrand was to emphasize the strength of the StayWell service” said Mack. StayWell fulfills its insurance promise by being the best at what it does and helping beyond expectations. The graphic elements of StayWell’s rebranded logo icon integrates circular elements that evoke inclusivity, belonging, and connection. These connective elements include the ‘S’ and ‘I’ within the logo, and hints at the number 8.
Today, Feb. 19, StayWell will host a ribbon-cutting event from 10am to 12pm in Maite, Guam. The company’s new logo and slogan will also be revealed at during the event.
