SSHS’ nursing assistant trainees graduate

Another successful cohort of Saipan Southern High School seniors recently completed their tenure as Nursing Assistant trainees and were recognized in a graduation ceremony held at Kanoa Resort on May 17, 2014.

In collaboration with the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp., Northern Marianas College’s AHEC Program, and the Department of Labor’s Workforce Investment Agency, this batch of students were provided guidance and subsidy to be able to complete the rigorous, one-year Nursing Assistant Program as offered by Saipan Southern High School.

In attendance for at this year’s ceremony included SSHS acting principal Jonathan Cabrera, CHCC CEO Esther Muña, CNMI Labor Secretary Edith Deleon Guerrero, instructors Leticia Reyes and Douglas Miller, as well as numerous family and friends of the graduates. (PR)
