Spay and neuter clinic set March 19-23

The Saipan Mayor’s Office, through its Dog Control Program, will hold a spay and neuter clinic from March 19 to 23, at the Garapan Central Park Roundhouse. The Spay Neuter Network will be help conduct the five-day clinic.

The Kaufman, Texas-based organization is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation and the team coming to Saipan will be spearheaded by director Bonnie Hill.

Hill’s team will consist of two veterinarians and four support veterinary technicians.

Saipan Mayor David M. Apatang’s special assistant Henry Hofschneider said the clinic will be from 8am to 5pm or 6pm, for both cats and dogs.

Pet owners must pay $25 per pet and payment must be made at any of the Treasury offices at the CNMI Courthouse and the Division of Revenue & Taxation in Dandan and Capitol Hill. Pet owners must present their receipt when they bring their pet to the clinic.

Call Spencer Marchadesch, Dog Control Program manager, at 783-4743 to register in advance to avail of the low-cost clinic.
