Spartans roll past Dabarkads in Tuesday B

The Jokers Spartans rolled to an 11-4 win over the VFW Dabarkads to hike their record to 50-25 after last week’s games in the Tuesday B division in the Bud Light-Saipan Electronic Darts Association Winter/Spring 2016 season.
Dan Repeki, Melvin Aldan, Stanley Aldan, and Harlan Reyes typified the Spartans’ dominating victory over the Dabarkads (32-43), who is at the lower half of the standings in the eight-team field.

Three of the Dabarkads’ victories were against the Partners Crazy 8 with Ronald de Ramos teaming up with Ronald Rojas (Partners Crazy Cricket) and Larry Achas (Partners Half-It) in besting the Spartans’ Joey Songsong and Steve Igisaiar, and Repeki and Stanley Aldan.

Marvin Achas and Buddy Garote in the Partners 501, and Larry Achas in the Singles Regular Cricket events were the other victories by the Dabarkads.

In other games, Jokers-backed teams 21 Shockers and Northern Lights each scored 9-6 wins over the Doro’s Hot Points (34-41) and the Jokers Chamberos (48-27) to improve to similar 43-32 records, while the VFW Warriors (21-54) squeezed out an 8-7 decision against the 6JMS G-Side Shooters (29-46).

There were no games in the Thursday Fanihi and Flame Tree divisions because of the New Year’s Eve celebration. Action resumes tomorrow in various bars on Saipan.
