Southern United Football Club and TanHoldings Football Club eased past their respective opponents in the 2019 Dove Women’s Fall League last weekend at the TSL Sports Complex.

In Division B, Southern United downed TanHoldings FC, 4-1, while the latter was victorious in its Division A match versus Matansa, 9-5.

Kaithlyn Chavez towed TanHoldings to a win after firing five six goals. She was on target in the first half after scoring in the third, seventh, 14th, and 15th minute, while her last two goals came in the 21st and 40th. Allyssya Angeles, Jenny Ann Capayas, and Christina Atalig contributed one goal apiece, as they hit the board in the 10th, 32nd and 33rd minute, respectively.

Jannah Casarino delivered two goals for Matansa, while Jeraldine and Jeralyn Castillo and Lilian Podziewski chipped in one each.

In Division B, Southern United got a pair of goals from Keisha Deleon Guerrero and one from Nathanette Blas for a 3-1 halftime advantage. Blas drew first blood with her shot in the sixth minute, while Deleon Guerrero posted her twin goals in the 18th and 19th minute.

Audrey Castro nailed the lone goal (18th minute) for TanHoldings, while Marinel Falalimpa added one more for Southern United in the second half (37th).

In other Division B results last weekend, Shirley’s Football Club outclassed Kanoa, 5-1.

Sisters Marilou Arriola and Marrielle Gariguez logged two goals apiece for Shirley’s, while Jhaza Mirano contributed one. Arriola had her first goal in the 12th minute and the second in the 39th, while her younger sister duplicated the feat after scoring in the 13th and 49th. Jhaza gave Shirley’s its first goal when she scored in the sixth minute, while Kanoa’s only goal was also recorded in the opening half with Arianne Antonio hitting her target in the 11th.
