Sophia-Fiesta 5km Fun Walk on May 14

Registration is now open for the annual Sophia-Fiesta 5km Fun Walk on May 14, 2017.
Registration time is 6am, while the walk begins at 6:30am.
The Sophia-Fiesta Walk, named after former first lady, Sophia Tenorio, will take place on Mother’s Day to honor all mothers in the CNMI. Proceeds from this family-friendly fun walk will go toward the Marianas Walking Association, which helps bring in exchange students from Japan.
Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan, the main organizer, has been the prominent sponsor for the past several years. Marianas Health will also provide free blood sugar, blood pressure, and respiratory flow check at the event. The 5km route starts at Paseo de Marianas, near Kinpachi Restaurant with the Fiesta Aid Station at the turnaround across the street from the Gold Beach Hotel.
Registration is free, however, the commemorative T-shirts will be sold for $7 each for the first 150 interested participants.
Registration forms are available at Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan, Kanoa Resort Saipan, and the PDI Office in Grandvrio Resort.
