Small Business Saturday is Nov. 24

Share

This Saturday, Nov. 24, the nation celebrates Small Business Saturday, a nationwide program celebrating small businesses’ impact across communities.

It is one day each year specifically set aside to support small businesses across the United States. Small Business Saturday reminds everyone that each purchase plays a key role in helping the small businesses.

The Saipan Young Professionals, an official committee of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, will be spearheading local observance of the event.

SYP chair Shayne Villanueva is challenging the islands to #ShopSmall this week to support at least three small businesses in the community, snap a photo, and share to Facebook or Instagram using hashtags #ShopSmallCNMI, #SmallBizSaturday, and #MarianasStrong.

Participants who use all three hashtags with their three pictures will win a reusable Small Business Saturday bag and other promotional items. Entries will be verified. Other promotions will be shared on the Saipan Young Professionals and Saipan Chamber of Commerce Facebook page through the week leading up to Small Business Saturday.

#ShopSmall on Nov. 24. For more information, call (670) 234-7150 or email administrator@saipanchamber.com. (PR)
