Tyler’s Gelatte Stone’s “Small Business Sundays” at the Sugar King Park in Garapan is back, and will take place on Nov. 28 at the park from 3pm to 6pm. This will be the fourth-ever “Small Business Sunday” and Tyler’s owner, Ben Babauta Jr., said Tuesday it will be the biggest one yet, with 10 vendors committing to be there.

Like the past three “Small Business Sundays,” the Nov. 28 event will highlight local businesses and feature live musical performances. A portion of the revenue generated this Sunday will be donated to the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence.

A local business owner from Tinian will be participating this Sunday, Babauta said, and that NMCADSV and Mount Carmel School will each be conducting their own fundraisers at the park. Babauta hopes to see the community come out this Sunday as this is a great opportunity to support local businesses while also beating the pre-Christmas shopping rush.

In September this year, Tyler’s Gelatte Stone held three “Small Business Sundays,” with a portion of the revenue going toward the Autism Society of the CNMI.
