Silver Streak Fun Run tomorrow

The 21st Annual Tom Picarro Memorial Fun Run, or also known as Silver Streak Fun Run, will be held this Saturday with race time set for 6am.

Registration starts at 5am with participants allowed to enter either the 4.2-mile or 1.8-mile race. The longer course will be from DFS Galleria to Quartermaster tank and back, while the shooter distance will be from DFS Galleria to the Fishermen Monument and back.

First place winners (men and women) in each course and age group will receive prizes. The age categories are as follows: U12, U19, 20 to 30, 21 to 40, 41 to 40, 51 to 60, and over 61.

Registration fee is only $10 and sign up can be made at DFS Galleria from 10:30am-10:30pm at the Foreign Currency Exchange Center. The first 100 finishers will receive T-shirts. For more information, call Ben Babauta 236-2563 or 483-2563. (PR)
