SHRM’s August meeting to feature Kilili

Delegate Gregorio Kilili C. Sablan (Ind-MP) will be the keynote speaker at the Society for Human Resource Management NMI Chapter meeting this Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Pacific Islands Club’s Charley’s Cabaret, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.

Sablan will share information about the newly enacted NMI U.S. Workforce Act, which extends the CNMI’s foreign worker program’s transition period and increases foreign worker permits for the next year and his proposed U.S. H.R. 6578 legislation, which intends to provide permanent immigration status for long-term foreign workers in the CNMI.

This presentation is open to the public. It includes the PIC lunch buffet at the cost of $20 for SHRM members and $30 for non-members.
