SHRM meeting to highlight OSHA and worker rights
The Society for Human Resource Management CNMI Chapter will be hosting a special presentation at its October General Membership meeting on the topic of “OSHA and Worker Rights,” a key responsibility and concern to all HR professionals and all managers. SHRM’s guest speaker, Jeffrey B. Romeo, OSHA Area Director, Honolulu, Hawaii, will be presenting this program and will provide an opportunity for questions from the audience.
Romeo will be preceded by Agnes Manglona-McPhetres, chief executive officer of the Northern Marianas Trade Institute, who will update the attendees on the status and programs of the Trade Institute.
This meeting will be held on Oct. 20, 2014, this next Monday at Charley’s Cabaret, PIC, from 11:30am to 2pm.
The presentation includes lunch at a cost of $20 for SHRM members and $30 for non-members.
