Take advantage of exclusive Shop Guam deals before festival ends on Feb. 15
TUMON, Guam—The Guam Visitors Bureau would like to remind residents to Shop Guam for Valentine’s Day. While planning for that perfect Valentine’s Day experience, the Shop Guam mobile app offers great ideas for the perfect gifts, dining locations and entertainment. Choose from more than 200 exclusive Shop Guam offers from more than 100 of Guam’s best vendors.
“The free Shop Guam mobile app is so easy to download. Within minutes you can be saving at local shops, restaurants and excursions,” said GVB Marketing Manager Pilar Laguaña. “This year, we added major luxury brands to the program and have a special Only of Guam category, all this in addition to the great offers from our returning vendors. The Shop Guam app is a fantastic tool that residents and visitors can use to help them plan the perfect Valentine’s Day on Guam.”
The fourth annual Shop Guam Festival is a world class global campaign aimed at creating an interactive shopping experience for residents and visitors, while highlighting Guam as a modern, fashionable and diverse destination to shop. This year’s festival will end on February 15, 2016.
The mobile and printed shopping guides were translated into six different languages that include English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. Copies of the printed guide can be picked up at GVB’s front desk. Shoppers can also look out for the Shop Guam 2015 signage prominently displayed by participating vendors.
The app allows users to search by categories and by location on a map, including deals that may be in their immediate vicinity. The enhanced app categories include shopping, food and drinks, optional tours and services, “Only on Guam” offers, and mobile only deals. Users can search for events taking place on island throughout the duration of the festival.
