Shell rebrands loyalty program with Lucky 7 Gold card

Customers of IP&E, which owns and operates the retail, commercial and distribution of Shell fuel on Saipan, can look forward to more rewards from their preferred gas station after the company launched yesterday a new and enhanced loyalty program designed to provide added value to its patrons.
The Lucky 7 Gold program offers Shell clients a chance to earn reward points by using an electronic card every time they gas up at Shell stations, doing away with its previous passport stamp approach.
IP&E officials from Saipan and Guam welcomed Shell Station operators, government and business leaders, and other guests at the unveiling of the new program, held at the Rey Lounge of Aqua Resort Club.
Besides going electronic, IP&E also announced its new and strategic marketing partnership with United MileagePlus for its Lucky 7 Gold program to make the gas reward program a success on island.
IP&E executive vice president Eloy S. Lizama said they are excited to update their Lucky 7 rewards program. “We really believe that the best gas rewards program in the market just got better,” he said. “Customers can now use our convenient Lucky 7 Gold Card instead of the Lucky 7 Passport and earn the same benefits and more.”
Lizama said they are also excited to have United MileagePlus as another anchor partner, besides IT&E, for the enhanced reward program.
“United MileagePlus is a perfect fit for Lucky 7 and we’re looking forward to our program gaining even more momentum as a result of our great partnerships and added convenience,” he said.
Those interested to join the Lucky 7 Gold program can fill out an application form available at all Shell stations on island or from their website at ipesaipan.com.
For a limited time, customers who sign up with the new program will receive either 50 free gallon points or 250 MileagePlus bonus miles.
Customers earn 1 point in their Gold Card per gallon of fuel purchased at any Shell Station on Saipan. Every 100 points entitle customers to redeem them for any of any of the following: $7 worth of Shell fuel, $7 worth of merchandise at any Shell Station, $10 IT&E prepaid wireless card, or the new option of 500 United MileagePlus award miles.
Additionally, IP&E also launched yesterday the “Go for the Gold” giveaway promotion. To join, one only need to sign up for the new electronic Lucky 7 Gold card to get a free entry form.
Customers who purchase Shell V-Power premium gas during the promo period will get two entry forms for more chances to win a ton of Shell V-Power premium gas, 200,000 United MileagePlus award miles, United round trip tickets to U.S. or Asia, iPad 3 or Mi-Fi with service, and $800 IT&E gift certificates.
