Shell gas station robbery

Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help for a robbery incident that occurred at the Shell gas station in Koblerville village.

On Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at about 9:56pm, police responded to the incident and met with two victims, employees of the Shell gas station. The victims were robbed at knifepoint by the suspect and over $600 was stolen.

Police learned from the victims (females, ages 25 and 33) that the suspect, described as a male wearing a red cloth that masked his face, khaki camouflage long-sleeved shirt, and a matching pair of pants, approached the store as they were about to close. One of the victims attempted to close and lock the front door. The suspect, armed with a silver pocketknife, forced his way through the front door, robbed the establishment and fled on foot. No one was injured.
