Shane Alvarez redeemed himself and placed first in the second leg of the Expert division for the Marianas Racing Association’s 2021 Point Series Race last Feb. 28 at the Cowtown Raceway Park in Marpi.

Alvarez rose to the top in the second leg of the series, placing first in both heats to earn him 50 points bringing his overall score to 50.

Alverick Alvarez followed closely behind Shane Alvarez in the second leg of the series by placing third in both heats to gain 40 points.

Completing the Top 3 was Angelito Hernaez with 37 points. Hernaez lagged behind in the first heat placing sixth place to earn him 15 points. However, Hernaez gained momentum in the second heat to place second and gained 22 points.

In the Veterans division, Dave Celis, who holds the No. 1 spot in the division, started off slow and placed third in the first heat to gain 20 points. Celis redeemed himself in the second heat and placed first to gain 25 points. He completed the second leg of the race with a total of 45 points.

Cuki Alvarez tailed Celis with an overall score of 45 for the second leg of the series. Alvarez held a steady second place for both heats to earn the No. 2 spot in Round 2.

Rounding up the Top 3 was Charles Cepeda who finished with a score of 43. Cepeda took first in the first heat to gain 25 points but later lost the lead when he placed fourth in the second heat earning him 18 points.

Kier Agda topped the Novice division, placing first in both heats of the second leg of the series to gain 50 points.

Henry Camacho Jr. took the No. 2 spot in Series Two for placing second in both heats to garner 44 points.

Completing the Top 3 was Arthur Jebehn who completed the second round with a score 38. Jebehn started off slow in the first heat and placed fourth earning him 18 points. He later picked up the pace in the second heat and placed third to gain 20 points.

In the Big Boy ATV division, Christian Camacho kept the lead throughout both heats of the second round to gain him 50 points.

Ton Basa placed second in the first heat to gain 22 points, but he did not return for the second heat.
