The Saipan Golfers Association will be holding its September and October Ace of the Month on Sunday, Oct. 25, at Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort.

SGA members are advised to arrive on time at 8:30am with tee time set at 9:30am.

The monthly tournaments was originally scheduled last Sunday, Oct. 18, but COP’s golf course closed at 12 noon.

SGA secretary Frances Sablan apologized to their members who came out ready to play last Sunday.

Up for grabs are two more slots on SGA’s yearend tournament.

Attorney General Ed Manibusan (January), John “Nani” Cruz (February), Larry I. Deleon Guerrero (March), SGA president Jung Eun Teack (April), Alex Tudela (May), and Juan Lizama (June) already earned berths to the January finals.

The list does not include the July and August winners.

SGA’s monthly tournament was cancelled for more than two months after Typhoon Soudelor damaged the golf courses where the group usually plays.

One by one Laolao Bay Golf & Resort’s east and west courses, Coral Ocean Point, and Marianas Country Club opened after their respective staff cleared the debris that littered their facilities. Kingfisher Golflinks is still closed as of press time.
