SGA monthly tournament continues
The Saipan Golfers Association will continue its monthly tournaments in the next two Sundays and next month at different venues.
SGA members will resume their hunt for spots in the year-ending Ace of Aces tournament with the October Ace of the Month up for grabs on Nov. 8 at the Marianas Country Club.
The November Ace will follow the next week on Nov. 15, another Sunday, with action moving to Kingfisher Golf Links, which will be hosting SGA’s monthly tournament for the first time in months.
Kingfisher will resume its normal operations on Nov. 9, Monday, as the Talofofo golf course was closed for more than three months after Typhoon Soudelor cut its power and water lines, and in the process damaged most of its facilities.
The SGA has also scheduled a Turkey Shoot on Thanksgiving Day with the banquet to be held at Pacific Islands Club after the 9:30am tee time.
The final SGA monthly tournament is the December Ace set on Dec. 6, also on a Sunday, at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort in Kagman.
All Ace of the Month tournaments are set at 9:30am.
SGA officials will then discuss and schedule when would be the 2015 Ace of Aces Tournament will be. The date, time, and venue will be announced at a latter date.
