The Jonny’s Serial Killaz clinched its second championship of the season, while two other divisions will begin their knockout semis matches in the Saipan Electronic Darts Association Bud Light League this week.

The Killaz, after securing the Flame Tree regular season crown, added the Bud Light Cup title after squeezing out an 8-7 decision against Naked Fish Na’Gupu last week at the latter’s home bar in Oleai.

The score was tied at seven after Sim Irank, Zack Johnson, Al Sablan, Ton Tomokane, Freddy Salavaria, and Lester Babauta managed to match the eventual champs’ in the five events they played. But the Serial Killaz won’t be denied of the title as Anson Jones, Peter Mendiola, Jeff Sablan, and Joey Songsong teamed up in the final Team 1101 Open In/Double Out event to secure the victory and the title.

In other divisions, the Ladies and Masters will start with their Bud Light Cup matches this week. The Ladies’ knockout semis will be played today, while the Masters will have theirs on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

The Nipa Hut Exquisites ruled the regular season, finishing with a 236-124 record following an 11-4 win over the 6JMS Hot Mess in their final games last week. The Chow Time Momshies came in second (219-141) after winning by default against the VFW Bull-It II. The Hot Mess placed third (149-211). The Exquisites will be facing the Momshies, while the Hot Mess will take on Bull-It II with the winners contending for the title on Oct. 9.

In the Masters division, 6JMS Mafia completed its title romp after collecting a league best 258-150 record, followed by the Oleai Nakayoshi (234-174) and 6JMS Pythons (194-214). Chow Time Calamity Fun was the other team (130-278).

The Pythons thrashed Calamity Fun, 14-3, and will meet the Nakayoshi in the one-game semifinals. The Nakayoshi, on the other hand, completed a 12-5 victory against the Mafia, which would face Calamity Fun in the other Final Four encounter.
