SEDA honors last season’s top teams

The top performers of the Bud Light-Saipan Electronic Darts Association Winter/Spring 2015 season were honored last week in the league’s awards banquet held at the Pacific Islands Club’s Charley’s Cabaret.

Leading the list of champions were three teams each that were sponsored by Jokers Bar and Grill, Sand Juvy Restaurant, and TDI Summit Auto Shop.

The Sand Juvy TDI Summit led the list of champions in the regular season when it ruled the Masters division. The Pasaways (Tuesday B) and Vicious Darties (Ladies) were the other division champions backed by Sand Juvy.

Jokers duplicated Sand Juvy’s feat with the Latte Sparts (Fanihi B), Darty Flight (Chichirika C), and Spartans (Kingfisher C) ruling their respective divisions.

Darty Flight team captain Pete Lizama’s season-long performance helped his squad clinch the Chichirika C crown and earned him a promotion to the B division along with Spartans counterpart Harlan Reyes, and teammates Jun Santos, Melvin Aldan, Steven Igisaiar, and Rusty Santos.

The Route 33 Mafia and the Jonny’s Kyodai were the other division champions in the A Division and Flame Tree B.

Sand Juvy Shoot Balut (Masters) Naked Fish Ridin’ Darrty (A Division), Jokers Atarashi Boyz (Tuesday B), Sands National Alamo Car Rental (Fanihi B), Naked Fish Oneshot (Flame Tree B), Jokers Tokers (Chichirika C), Route 33 Dart Knights (Kingfisher C), and the Abyss Certified Pasawayz (Ladies) finished second in each of their divisions.

Jokers Destroyers (Masters), Smoke Pub Voyagers (A Division), Smoke Pub Titans (Tuesday B), Route 33 Mixblood Shooters (Fanihi B), Naked Fish Ridin Darrty (Flame Tree B), Abyss DNA Jump It (Chichirika C), and Sand Juvy Try Luck (Ladies) were the third placers.

The Sand Juvy Predators came in fourth in the A Division.

The Sand Juvy Vicious Darties (Ladies), Jokers Spartans (Kingfisher C), Jokers Darty Flight (Chichirika C), Jonny’s Kyodai (Flame Tree B), Jokers Latte Sparts (Fanihi B), Jokers Atarashi Boyz (Tuesday B), Smoke Pub Voyagers (A Division), and Jokers Destroyers (Masters) were the Bud Light Cup champion teams.

Sand Juvy squads Pythons (Masters), No Fear (A Division), and Dabarkads (Tuesday B) led the list of Sportsmanship awardees.

The Oleai Team Fearless (Fanihi B), Jonny’s Real Deal (Flame Tree B), Blue Koi (Chichirika C), Smoke Pub High Flyers (Kingfisher C), and Jokers Kitty Kats (Ladies) were the other recipients of top awards.
