In April 2011 a group of nine went to Tinian from the Saipan Seventh Day Adventist Church to run a weeklong Vacation Bible School program during the PSS spring break. The group included Dr. Stafford and his family of the SDA Dental clinic and four teenagers from the Saipan Central SDA Church.

Andrea Stafford, the VBS director reports: “We were blessed by the time spent sharing and visiting in Tinian in 2011. The enthusiastic children who were so friendly melted our hearts. As we were leaving they wanted to know if we would do this every vacation. Although we could not say yes to every vacation, we are happy to be coming back to spend a part of the summer vacation with them. We are also looking forward to getting to know any other children who are interested in joining us. It is all free, open to the public and includes lessons, crafts, singing, snacks and games.”

The Vacation Bible School program’s focus this week is on life in ancient Rome. The program runs from June 18 to 22, from 2pm to 4pm each day at the Tinian SDA Facility, ground floor of the Kim’s Building.
