SCS names August Students of the Month

The Saipan Community School is recognizing nine students as its Students of the Month for August.

The Student of the Month for Kindergarten is Lennox Sablan, who is a self-motivated and focused learner. He has become a class leader and is a kind and loving friend to all his classmates. We are very proud of you, Lennox! Keep up the great work!

Iyani Muña is the SCS Student of the Month for Grade 1. She is described as a hardworking student who puts forth great effort in all that she does. She is a kind, sweet friend and is always willing to help her teachers and classmates. We’re so lucky to have a rock star like Iyani in our first grade class!

Micaela Tenorio is very deserving of SCS’s 2nd Grade Student of the Month for August 2019. Tenorio is a respectful and well-mannered student who gets along well with all of her classmates. She is highly attentive to instructions and works diligently during class time to complete her assignments. Tenorio demonstrates a positive attitude, patience with others, and perseverance while at school everyday. Congratulations Micaela!

The SCS August 2019 Student of the Month for 3rd Grade is Alleena Villaluz, who provides the 3rd Grade class with a positive role model for all to follow. She actively participates, readily helps others, always tries her best and perseveres through difficult assignments. We are very pleased and honored to have such a wonderful new student this school year!

From the SCS Grade 4 family, we would like to announce one of our students who has given their very best for this month: Annabella Tudela. She has shown extreme diligence in each assigned task. Tudela has also been working very hard in her studies, demonstrates responsibility, and is respectful to her peers/teachers. One characteristic which makes her shine even brighter is the warm smile she wears every single day. When school starts in the morning, you can just feel the positivity radiate from her smile—and that is a characteristic which each student (not only in the fourth grade, but also the entire SCS family) can emulate from. Leo Kim is our SCS Grade 5 Student of the Month for August 2019. Kim has been a great leader in the classroom. He has shown this by his diligence, his willingness to ask good questions, his ability to help those around him, and his classwork being completed at an exceptional level. Kim has been an amazing example of a 5th grade student. Keep up the great work!

Lola Guerrero has been chosen as the SCS August 2019 Student of the Month for the Grade 6 class. Guerrero is a hardworking student who has shown determination to do her very best. Her cheerfulness and hard work have made her stand out as a leader in the 6th grade class this month. Guerrero displays excellent character and discernment in her decision making. Keep up the good work!

The SCS Grade 7 Student of the Month for August 2019 is Mikaela Rabago! We are proud to recognize Rabago for her wonderful attitude and great class participation. Rabago is also chosen because of her commitment to academic excellence. She is encouraging and helpful to other students, especially when they are struggling. Keep shining your light, Mikaela!

We are excited to announce Paul William DLG Camacho II as our SCS Grade 8 Student of the Month for August 2019. Camacho has been an excellent example to all and continues to grow as a great leader. He is being recognized for his character, his kindness, and sense of humor. Camacho is appreciated for the joy he brings his teachers and classmates. Congratulations, Paul, we are proud of you! (PR)
