Saipan Community School lauded the school’s winners in the National Junior Speech and Debate Association meet held on Oct. 22 at Hopwood Jr. High School. The winners were called to the stage of the Saipan Community Church chapel with their coach Ashley Sikayun last Friday where they were cheered by the school’s students and faculty.

The list of the winners is as follows:

1st Place Impromptu A – Maxine Rabago
2nd Place Prose Masters A – Maxine Rabago

1st Place Storytelling A – Shaina Lee

1st Place Storytelling B – James Park
1st Place Poetry Masters B – James Park

2nd Place Storytelling B – Vinson Bacani
2nd Place Prose Masters B – Vinson Bacani

3rd Place Storytelling B – Seung Won Lee

3rd Place Prose A – Miku Torres

4th Place Impromptu A – Jesus Sablan

4th Place Poetry B – Seo Young Baek
