SCC golf tourney is this Saturday

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is holding its golf tournament fundraiser this Saturday at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.
Proceeds would go to the $13,000 that the Chamber will give as educational scholarships in June this year as well as various other SCC programs.
Scholarships offered for 2016 include four $2,000 scholarships for high school seniors, one $2,000 scholarship for a Northern Marianas College student, and one $2,000 for a student of the Northern Marianas Trades Institute.
The golf tournament sports a two-person scramble, meaning teams of two would be formed. Each player still has their own ball, but the player with the better score would represent the team when it comes to scorekeeping.
Cash prizes for both categories, team gross and team double peoria, have the same prizes. The first place pair gets $800, second gets $500, and third gets $300.
Triple J Motors will be sponsoring a hole-in-one prize of a 2017 Mazda 6 and three hole-in-one opportunities of $5,000 each are offered by Pacifica Insurance, McDonald’s Saipan, and Takagi Insurance and the Chamber’s Saipan Young Professionals.
Registration forms are available for download at www.saipanchamber.com, at the SCC office in the Marianas Business Plaza, Susupe, and at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.
