Santa Remedios fundraiser golf tourney March 24

The Sister Remedios Parish Pastoral Council is holding a fundraising golf tournament on March 24.
Proceeds of the event will be used for renovations and repairs to the church in Tanapag.
Venue for the competition has yet to be determined, however the parish is requesting local golf organizations to reserve the weekend for the fundraiser. Entrance fee is $100 per person and $90 for early birds that register at least a week in advance.
Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 placers and various consolation prizes will also be up for grabs.
The parish plans to improve the church’s surrounding area to create a more beautiful ambience; renovate the parking lot to increase the spaces available, the front entrance to enable easy access during funeral services, and front walkway to integrate a portico structure to the church; and construct a chapel in the Tanapag cemetery to provide shelter during outdoor services.
Sister Remedios in Tanapag did not put on a fundraising tournament last year, but have done so in the past. This event marks its sixth or seventh fundraiser in recent years.
