The Santa Remedios Parish Pastoral Council is set to hold its fundraising golf tournament on March 24 at the Marianas Country Club.
Show time is set for 6:30am with a 7am tee off with the Top 3 finishers taking home trophies and special prize packages.
First place also receives a $100 cash prize, the runner-up will be awarded $75, and third place wins $50.
A multitude of raffle prizes will also be up for grabs.
Proceeds of the event will go toward renovations and maintenance repairs for the Santa Remedios Church, which is located in Tanapag.
The church’s pastoral council is requesting local golf organizations to please mark their calendars reserve the weekend for their cause.
All local golfers are invited to come out and help support the church.
The entrance to participate is $100 per person and $90 for early birds that register by Wednesday, March 14.
Some of the major improvements needed at the Santa Remedios Church include landscaping the surrounding area to improve its ambience, increasing the spaces available in the parking lot, renovations to the front entrance to enable easy access for the hearst during funeral services, renovations to the front walkway to integrate a portico structure to the church, and construction of an outdoor chapel in the cemetery that provides shelter during outdoor services.
