Tinian and Aguiguan Mayor Joey P. San Nicolas issued yesterday an Invitation to Bid for the renovation of the Tinian Guest House. Located on Navy Hill, the Tinian Guest House serves as temporary housing for Tinian’s medically referred patients on Saipan. Included in the renovation are two Samoan Housing units in upper Navy Hill.

The project package will be available on Friday, April 24, and may be picked up at the CIP Office on Capital Hill.

“Mayor San Nicolas promised that he would prioritize infrastructure development and health care and he is certainly doing it,” said Carla San Nicolas, director of the Tinian Liaison Office.

In March, the mayor and the Tinian leadership broke ground for phase two of the repair and renovation of the Tinian Health Center. CHCC resident director William Cing and CIP administrator Vicky Villagomez led the groundbreaking at THC. The leadership also had a ribbon cutting ceremony for the completed renovations of phase one.

“Thanks to the support of the Tinian Legislative Delegation, Municipal Council, the CIP Office and the Governor’s Office, Tinian patients will soon have newly renovated rooms to use during their referral to Saipan and will enjoy improved facilities at the Tinian Health Center,” said San Nicolas.
