SAMSHA Family Fun-Fest tomorrow

The National Prevention Week that is hosted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, will end with a “Family Fun-Fest” tomorrow, May 18, at the Capitol Hill baseball field, from 9am to 2pm.

The event, hosted by the Substance Abuse Prevention Services Unit of the Community Guidance Center, will include prevention partner agencies conducting educational/physical activities for the families, food vendors, and a bounce house, to name a few.

National Prevention Week took place this week from May 12 to May 18. It is a one-week observance that is dedicated to increasing the public’s awareness of, and action around, mental and/or substance use disorders. National Prevention Week included a variety of activities on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.
