Saipan’s first medi spa called ‘Thrive’ is open
A quick internet search yields the meanings “grow or develop well or vigorously” when you search for the meaning of the word “thrive.”
The meaning is apt when you consider that the goal of the brand new medi spa on Saipan called Thrive is to “beautify you from the inside out.”
As the name suggests, a medi spa is still a spa. Yet it is different from your regular spa in that it specializes in enhancing your health from the inside out.
A medi spa offers treatments that detoxify the body of heavy metals and re-hydrates your body, treatment that rids the body of fat cells, treatment that “freezes” the muscles in your face to prevent aging, and treatments to tone one’s skin.
“We continue to bring health by helping people get healthy and stay healthy,” said Thrive owner Donna Krum.
Thrive offers treatments to ensure the wellbeing of their clients through non-surgical, non-invasive procedures. Chelation, for example, is a treatment that uses an IV tube to insert vitamins into your body to clear out the metals in your system.
Thrive also offers cool sculpting, which is an impressive substitute to liposuction. In liposuction, fat is sucked out of a fat cell; cool sculpting freezes a fat cell and your body disposes of it in its own natural way. Through cool sculpting, fat will no longer be stored in the treated area because all the fat cells in that area are no longer there.
Thrive also offer cures for jet lag and for hangovers. Jet lag and hangovers are usually because of lack of hydration in your body. Thrive offers treatments through IV tubes to replenish the blood cells in your body so you no longer need to wait out a jet lag or a hangover.
Thrive also offers skin toning and botox treatment to prevent wrinkles in the face from starting or to stop the wrinkles from getting worse.
