Saipan Paddling Club thanks sponsors
Saipan Paddling Club has expressed its appreciation to companies and individuals who are supporting the group’s participation the Micro Cup 2016 in Palau this weekend.
“The Saipan Paddling Club would like to give a huge thank you to the Governor’s Office, Saipan and Northern Island Legislative Delegation (SNILD), IT&E, TanHoldings, Pacific Islands Club, Bridge Capital, LLC, Marpac, Reps. Edmund Villagomez, Angel Demapan, J.P. Sablan, Larry Guerrero, and B.J. Attao, Danny and Paz Calvo, and DBM Fish Mart for their generous donation to help us participate in the Micronesian Cup in Palau,” SPC said in a media statement.
“To all the families, friends, and everyone who participated in all our fundraisers that was all held at the Oleai Beach Bar & Grill, thank you for your overwhelming and tremendous support. Thank you all for making it possible for the Saipan Paddling Club to represent the CNMI in Palau,” SPC added.
The club’s junior girls team and men’s and women’s squads will be competing in the 500m and 1,500m sprint races and the three long distance events—6-, 10-, and 12-mile courses—in Palau from Oct. 21 to 23. (PR)
