Saipan Mayor’s Office is now more accessible

The Saipan Mayor’s Office has been made more accessible to the elderly, children, and individuals with special needs.

The mayor’s office, formerly located on Beach Road, has officially moved to Susupe by the Francisco C. Ada Gymnasium track and field.

The mayor’s office is now located on the bottom floor of the CTC building in Susupe.

According to Saipan Mayor David Apatang, one of the purposes of the move was to ensure that everyone could access the mayor’s office to avail of services.

One of the problems in the office’s former location was that the mayor’s office was located on the second floor. It was a struggle for individuals who were on wheelchairs, for the elderly, and for little children.

Apatang is extremely happy about the new location because it isn’t only accessible, it is also double the size of the previous office and has a warehouse to store all the equipment that the office uses in its mission to beautify the CNMI.

The Saipan Higher Education Financial Assistance office is also located at the CTC building, on the second floor.
