Saipan Little League hopes to elect new officials

The Saipan Little League board is hoping more stakeholders would attend tomorrow’s general membership meeting at 5pm at the pavilion behind the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Outgoing Saipan Little League Board Inc. president Ben Jones has requested all managers and coaches who participated last season, parents, and volunteers to attend the meeting.

The main agenda is the election of the new members of the board—president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, chief statistician, player agent, and safety officer—for the 2016 SLL season.

The meeting is also open to other individuals who want to volunteer in the Saipan Little League baseball program.

A new set of SLL board should have been elected last weekend but Jones postponed the nomination and election since only 12 attended Saturday’s general membership meeting.

The new board members, headed by the president, will next plan the upcoming 2016 Little League season.
