Sanchez was consistently on top of his class while working as a senior QA Test technician/IT specialist at Fieldsync, a leading software company that offers real-time date, fast reporting, free integrated mobile applications and high-end enterprise features. In honoring his top achievement as a career and technical education student, Sanchez was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society of ITT Technical Institutes – Boise Charter, for which he serves as vice president of his school’s charter.

In his valedictory speech at his commencement ceremony, Sanchez said: “If there is any small amount of advice that I could give to anybody that is currently in school or considering going to school, it is this: It may seem scary to step into the unknown, but be strong and passionate about what you want to do. There will be sacrifices, there will be hardships, but ultimately there’s no more satisfaction than overcoming any difficulties and rising above, to build a new you. Dare to be great, take that leap of faith, and know that you are climbing that ladder to success.”

Sanchez also acknowledged and appreciated the many people that supported him throughout his educational endeavor. “I’d like to acknowledge that I could not have made it here today without the understanding and support of my family, friends, classmates, and instructors. For it was not only myself that had to make sacrifices, but they also had to make sacrifices of their own, whether it be not seeing me to focus on my schooling or spending late nights getting projects completed on time; they were always there for me.”

Sanchez also sent a very special message to his parents, Ramona and Jesus Sanchez: “Mom and Dad, I have nothing but the utmost respect for you both, for pushing me to finish school. Your teachings throughout my upbringing have led me to be the person who stands here today, and I could not be more indebted to the patience, the sacrifices, and the hardships that you’ve both experienced. Because you were both unable to make it to my ceremony, please take this as my way of praising you both for everything you have ever given me. I love you both with all my heart. Mom, Dad, we did it!”

Families and friends extend their congratulations with pride and wish Sanchez many more success as he pursues a career in his chosen field and in his quest to continue climbing the ladder so that he can be a shining example of leadership for others. (PR)
