Saipan Int’l Fishing Tournament set July 14-15

The 28th Annual Saipan International Fishing Tournament will be held on July 14-15 in CNMI waters.
Participants must register on Friday, July 13, from 5pm to 6:30pm at Smiling Cove Marina in Garapan.
Registration is $150 per boat, including one captain and one crewmember. Each additional crewmember is $25.
Boaters are reminded to have their boats inspected by the Department of Public Safety Boating Safety office this week.
Appointments may be made by calling the Boating Safety office at 664-9180/1/2. All boats must have a full inspection to participate.
Launching will be from 6am to 8am both days at Smiling Cove Marina, Sugar Dock in Chalan Kanoa, and Garapan Fishing Base.
All boats launching after 8am need to check out at Smiling Cove Marina. Participants wishing to register their catch must be inside the Smiling Cove Mariana channel by 6pm both days.
Tournament fee also includes entrance to the awards banquet.
