Veterans shouldn’t have to face the challenges of post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, in silence or alone. Through the teamwork and camaraderie of “Guitars for Vets,” they can join a community where they learn to play guitar and find solace in the songs they love as well as the songs they have yet to write.

The Veterans Affairs’ Saipan Outreach Clinic is looking to recruit volunteer instructors and a chapter coordinator in order to launch our own Guitars 4 Vets chapter here on Saipan. Volunteers do not need to be veterans. If you are interested, contact Bridget Mahoney by calling our clinic at (670) 322-0035 or emailing directly (bridget.mahoney@va.gov).
