The Saipan Chamber of Commerce has announced the relocation of its offices to the 2nd Floor of the Marianas Business Plaza effective last April 3.
The SCC’s previous location was just two floors above on the 4th floor. The move is aimed at enhancing accessibility and visibility to its members and future-members.
According to executive director Kimberly Camacho, the relocation was a priority in revitalizing the Chamber, “It was definitely something we needed to get done to be able to be more accessible to the members and future-members, on the 4th floor, we were at the way end of the hall and invisible to the public’s eye whereas on the 2nd floor, you’re able to see our office from the ground floor and you can’t miss it with our huge logo displayed out front.”
The new office boasts several advantages, including a larger conference room that can accommodate up to 15-20 people. Previously, meetings had to be held virtually due to space constraints. With the new office, in-person meetings can be hosted, allowing for more robust and meaningful conversations.
“We are excited about the move and the many opportunities we’ll encounter going forward. We are thankful for Chamber members and Marianas Business Plaza for providing a smooth transition of offices within their establishment,” Camacho added.
All other forms of communication with the SCC remain the same, and the Chamber welcomes all its members and future members. The SCC remains committed to being a resource and advocate for enhancing the quality of business and life on the Island of Saipan.
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower our enterprises as a resource, advocate, and connector for Saipan’s private sector. Its vision is to create an island where businesses, family, and community succeed as one.
